Ryan Miller

Ryan Miller began his coffee career in 2006. He began roasting soon after and has opened 6 cafes. Since 2015 Ryan has been developing cold brew extraction processes with the goal of achieving a complex and full bodied cold brew. Brubender Extraction Technology is the culmination of his work. When not working in coffee Ryan enjoys his time playing competitive golf, tattooing or building violins.  He resides in Lake George with his wife Alyson and their daughter Elliana.

Kristi has been in the coffee business for over 15 years.

Kyle Brock

A native of the Lake George area in upstate New York, Kyle received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton and a Master of Science from Rensselaer.  After spending nearly 25 years in executive leadership positions in diverse industries from Medical Devices and Paper Manufacturing to Health Care, he teamed up with his wife and brother-in-law to create Kru Coffee.  Kyle is currently the Managing Member of Kru’s parent LLC and is also the President of Mauka Lau Corporation.  Mauka Lau is a Hawaiian company with broad coffee industry interests including the development of coffee production on the Big Island.

Luke Rock

Luke began his coffee career working part-time as a barista his sophomore year of college in central New York and quickly fell in love with the craft. After college, Luke began roasting and working as a barista full time under Ryan Miller. After taking over full-time roasting duties, he was able to team up with the Krü family to join the company as Co-founder and Director of coffee. In his free time you’ll find Luke either playing drums or out on an adventure with his two dogs, Atlas and Donnybrook, alongside his fiancé Kristen.

Acacia Ladd-Cocca-DeNofio

Acacia started out pursuing a career in Psychology, with a B.A. in Social Sciences and A.A.S. in Chemical Dependency Counseling. While getting her Associate’s and interning, she started her barista career at The Happy Cappuccino in Schenectady, NY. After some time in the counseling field, she found that her real skill was connecting with people on a more human level while in a coffee shop setting, which brought her to Kru as a barista in 2017. Throughout her years with the company she worked her way up into a management position. When she is working at Kru, Acacia is probably scheming up new drinks and creative ways to connect with a bigger audience. Off the clock, you can find her planning out her next music festival as a self-proclaimed “Rave Mom”, or simply chilling with her husband, Dom, their 2 cats, and German Shepherd.
